New Keyboard & App Turn your Smartphone into PC Gaming Companion

keyboard
I’m not a PC gamer. Blame ignorance, lack of funds, and a preference for consoles. But that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a great solution when it comes around. Take, for example, the new Roccat Phobo keyboard, which has a built-in slot for you to slide in your iPhone, at which point it becomes touchscreen companion with fully programmable capabilities, meaning you can set up what buttons you want for the game you’re playing. The tech is known as Power-Grid, and it looks pretty slick to me.
Apparently the app will even reroute phone calls you may get while you’re playing directly to your headset, so you don’t have to stop your gaming. This seems very science-fictiony, and, therefore, very, very cool.

According to a post on EverythingUSB, the Power-Grid app is in its beta stage now, and that future versions will allow for Android compatibility. Very cool, right? At least, I think so. PC gamers—your thoughts?
