New Metal Gear Solid hinted by Konami, will target “high-end consoles and PC”

Kojima Productions hiring for the next Metal Gear Solid.

A new installment in the Metal Gear Solid series is apparently in the pipeline if a job advertisement on Konami’s official site is to be taken seriously. Well, it is posted on the official site of the franchise’s publisher, so this seems legit.
The ad link was created to recruit for positions within the borders of Kojima Productions, Konami’s in-house studio and developers of the MGS franchise. It directs those attending the upcoming Game Developers Conference in San Francisco between March 6 and March 9. Accordingly, Hideo Kojima and co. are seeking engineers, artists, designers and a brand manager to work on “the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC.”
Apparently, assigned engineers will take on the task of helping “develop next-gen game engine technology for use with the ‘FOX Engine.’”
Essentially, it’s been confirmed that work on the next Metal Gear Solid (perhaps is the teased Project Ogre?) will ultimately take a closer step to reality. What remains vague at this point is the term “high-end consoles”. Perhaps that is Metal Gear Solid 5 intended for release as a multiplatform title on next-gen platforms? We also added an issued piece of concept art which happens to resemble the same artistic direction in Metal Gear Solid.
